Jovan startles slightly as Sal moves his hand away. He hadn't even realized the other man was touching him, distracted by one shock after another. His eyes follow that hand to Gizmo. "Noted, but don't worry. It would take a hell of a lot for me to ditch you. I don't think my conscience could handle anything short of you trying to kill me or something."
Somehow he manages a faint smile, so Sal knows his next words are a gentle tease. "Besides, I like Gizmo. I'd miss him too much if you left."
