Sal only shakes his head, hesitating before reaching over and putting his hand on Sebastian's arm. "It's fine, really. You should've seen me just a few years ago--when I was still in high school I looked like I was a ten-year-old girl--so between that and the prosthetic, I've gotten a lot of misunderstandings and unsavory comments."

The mistake about his age is so minor in comparison to some of the more hate-filled things he's been called that it doesn't even register as offensive.

"Thanks for apologizing, but it's really no big deal." A little awkwardly, he adds after a pause, "if this makes you more uncomfortable--if you don't want to take me along with you, anymore, knowing how old I am, I completely understand."
