Jovan reaches out a hand to help the stranger up. Maybe if he gives this poor kid a towel, bags up the bloody clothes, lets him shower so Jovan can dress any wounds... shit, he's trying to stay out of trouble, why does he have to be so soft-hearted?? But he can't bring himself to ignore someone in distress. Maybe this is testing his karma, to see if he deserves continued luck in avoiding his family. Thinking that way and still wanting to help could be selfish, but no being is completely selfless.
